Still looking for Charlotte CHAPMAN. She married Benjamin F. DURHAM and had
at least one son. No more is known about Benjamin and Charlotte.
Their son, Worth Jasper DURHAM, was born in Lockport, Pennsylvania, on 31
May 1850. When Worth was ten, he moved (presumably with his parents) to
Maumee City, Ohio, and then at age 23, moved to Kansas City, Wisconsin. In
Wisconsin, Worth found work as a miller and lumberjack, eventually becoming
President of his own company, the W. J. Durham Lumber Company, Inc. He also
served as vice-president of the Ripon (Wis.) State Bank.
For more information on W. J. Durham and his family, see the following URL.
If anyone out there can help me find his parents, please let me know!
Thanks,
Jeff Drake
