Cindy, my GGGM was MAHALA, and the time is about right, but I don't have any
record of her remarrying (her husband was William Chapman). Do you have the
names of the children with her? I've found records of TWO Mahala Chapmans,
about a 15 year diffence in their ages. My Chapmans were all in Illinois
and Kentucky during the early to late 1800s.
