Subject: [CHAPMAN] Louisa Jane Chapman Donegan (Dunagan)
Does anyone out there have a Louisa Jane Chapman (Donegan or Dunagan)
in
your family history? She was born 9 March 1831 in Dixon, Tennessee and
married Richard Graham Cowan18 Dec 1845 in Dixon County, Tennessee. She
died 6 July 1899 probably in Rhea, Washington County, Arkansas where her
husband died 3 years earlier. Richard Graham Cowan's father was Joseph
Skiles Cowan and he moved to Tennessee from North Carolina. It is
possible that Louisa Jane Chapman (Donegan or Dunagan) parents may also
have been from North Carolina and moved to Tennessee with the Graham,
Chapman and Cowan families. Any help would be sincerely appreciated. I
am willing to pay for documentation, copies, costs of research.
Thank you,
Karen Cowan Thomas
