You might try the National Achives for info on vets of wars. However, I
have been trying to get a form to submit info to them about my ggrandfather
who was in the Civil War and I have not received it yet. That was about 2
mo ago. Things must move really slow there! Guess I will have to try
again.

Yes, I have checked out the Chapman Family Association website but I
haven't found amything on my husband's lineage (or maybe I just don't know
where on the website to look). I will contact Gil and ask hom if he can
help. Family lore has it that my husband is a descendant of the one of
the Green Mountain boys and we are trying to document any involvement of
his line in the Revolutionary War.
