Jackie,
I'm not related to Stephen Chapman but I have been in touch with someone
who is. Do you know a Wanza Barker Merrifield of Ponca City, OK? We first
corresponded in 1983 when I published "Chapman Chatter." She is not a
member of our Chapman Family Association and I do not know if she is still
living as we have not been in contact for years. I'd bet that what I have
from her is not much more than you have. Most of the names do check. I
have a total of 39 descendants and 21 of their spouses.
If you would like her mailing address (don't know if she is on e-mail) then
send me a personal message to which I can reply. Send to
GAlford1(a)compuserve.com. (that is a one - not an ell - before the "at."
