I am glad that you posted on this list. I am not aware of this being a
US-Only list. My relatives did in fact come from England and settled in
Virginia and then finally Pennsylvania. I found your posting most
informative. I am still trying to trace my roots to the UK, though, even
though I know that is where we originated. Thank you.

Yes, I was aware of that fact. I'm sorry - is this list for non-UK only? I
posted here mainly on the off-chance that my data may have been of some help
to those whose ancestors came from England, especially as the chance of my
being able to trace my Chapman ancestry back much further is pretty slim.
