In an attempt to find a couple of my Chapman relatives that supposedly
lived in Hartford County, CT., I've finally finished looking at the
census records for that county.
I've abstracted all the Chapman's I could find in the 1910 census for
the county and they are now up on my web site. If anyone is interested,
they can go to
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~johnjay/
and click on genealogy.
Hopefully they may give someone out there a hint in finding their
relatives. I do need to warn you that I cannot guarantee I've found all
the Chapman's in Hartford County for 1910. The eyes are going and some
of the online images are not the greatest quality, which I presume means
the microfilm copy won't be much better.
I have also listed the Chapman's married in Colchester, Ct as contained
in the Barbour Collection as transcribed in The Connecticut Nutmegger.
Good Luck and Happy Hunting!
