My grandmother was Lula Rebecca CHAPMAN her father was George Henry Jackson
CHAPMAN from the Saluda County South Carolina area. The only thing that I
know about my grandparents are that Lula CHAPMAN married Oliver Allen
Puckett sometime around 1890-1895 both are dead. My father, Frank Chapman
Puckett born in Saluda County South Carolina 1911 and died 1968 in Augusta
Georgia. To my knowledge I have no living CHAPMAN family memebers that can
be tested. I know nothing of my CHAPMAN line, so could you tell me if I can
have the DNA test done on me? I would love to know more about my CHAPMAN
line.
Thank you,
Margie Puckett

Carla.. Mine is a direct male line from Samuel Chapman in Virginia to my
grandfather.. Then my mother (a Chapman) gave birth to me, but I know the
line,
and it has 9 straight male Chapmans and then my mother and then me..
How
does
this affect the DNA identification. You have stated that an
uninterrupted
male
line is required..?
