Hi, I'm Margie Puckett King, I'm trying to find George or John Henry Jackson
Chapman married to Ellen Forrest they were in the Edgefield/Saluda County
area in 1860's. Would someone please check the CFA for me to see if there
is any info on them. That is my great grandmother and great grandfather
that dropped from the sky. The had a son George John Henry Jackson Chapman,
Jr and three daughters, Emma married James E. Turner, Lula Rebecca married
Ollie Allen Puckett and Mary and I don't know who she married. Lula was my
grandmother, also dropped from the sky. My father Frank Chapman Puckett was
born in Ridgespring, South Carolina in 1913 also dropped from the sky. I
only know names thus far. All grandparents and aunts and uncles were died
before I was born. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Margie Puckett King

Hi Jack, I looked at the Chapman Family Association files and there
were
two
CFA members that had your Thomas Chapman, b. 1775 as their ultimate
ancestor. Those members were Barbara Moore and Nancy Savignac, if you
have
not been in contact with either of these people I would be able to
get you
some addresses if you are interested in contacting them.
It didn't look like they had any info on his parent's.
Let me know, Paul
p.s. if you live in the Virginia area the CFA meeting is being held in
Richmond, VA this year would love to have you join us.
