I would be so happy if you could help me with my CHAPMAN family. I think
that there are several lines but I can not find which one my CHAPMAN line
falls in. My grandmother is where the problem comes in she was Lula Rebecca
Chapman from Saluda County (I think). Lula had a sister Emma and Mary and a
brother Henry. All I can find out about Henry is his name was Henry S or
Henry J Chapman. Henry had two sons George H. J. Chapman and John Mike
Chapman and three daughters Mae, Ruth and Earle. I was told but has not
been confirmed that Lula's father was George Henry Jackson Chapman, but I
can not find him either. So any help would be appreciated. My grandmother
was born April 1867 and died in Augusta Richmond County GA on September
1927.
Thank you,
Margie

Margie , my Chapman family is from there, Newberry, Edgefield and
lexington
South Carolina. This would be Abraham, John, Abram, John George
Chapman,
Let me know if you have any of these names.
