I had a someone unsubscribe tonight, and per the request in the unsub
notice, asking the reason for the person unsubbing, the copy below is what
I received. I wrote and asked Don if he would mind if I forwarded this to
the list, and received his blessings.......also a portion of the email in
which he grants that permission, his response was in part, "I would
be very pleased if you did. How else would the good folks on the Chapman
list know
how they have help me and I sure many others. Please let them know that I
appreciate their input even though most of the time I was the silent
subscriber.
Again, thanks to all of you.
Once again, the subscribers of the Chapman-L has done me proud! :)

Hello,
You ask that I respond by giving my reasons for unsubscribing. I
have been on the list around a year after receiving information that my
wife's great grandmother may have been a Chapman. I have now learn that
that is incorrect. It is for this reason that I have remove myself from
the Chapman mailing list.
I have enjoyed the past year and although I have learn that there
are no Chapmans in my wife's family, I have learn a lot that I sure will
be beneficial to my genealoghy research in the future. I have enjoyed the
correspondance between the Chapman family and appreciate the willingness
to help another is surpassed by none.
I thank you and all your subscribers for the enrichment that I
received. It is indeed, a good group of
people. Donald Gunthorpe
