I am from Chapmans who migrated to Canada around 1795 t0 1800 from Vermont.
Family Christian names include Gerard (or Jerard), Orlando, Chester, Olive,
Susannah and Ann, Laurie, John, Milo, and Louisa. As UEL's they were
probably Anglican (Episcopalian) in their religious persuasion.

I'm looking for a Rev. Chapman who was born in Connecticut in the late 1700s
and who lived in New York State including Steuben County, during the early
1800s. His wife was born in Vermont. Their children, including Theda A.,
were born in the 1820s and 1830s. Rev. Chapman's sister-in-law may have
been named Olive Chapman and her children were Phebe, Mary, and Amos.
Thanks for any Chapman information.
