U.E.L. is an abbreviation of honour commonly used Canadians (especially a generation
back).
It stands fo "United Empire Loyalists" and thus often included Anglican pioneers
who were loyal to the Crown during the American Revolution, hoping to obtain independence
from Britain in Canada without a Rebellion.

the new American colonies were complaining to the Crown about (ie. ripping off the the
natural resources of their land and selling them back to them at inflated prices), America
has now perfected as it "liberates" third world countries (everything from
bananas and oil), - and blockades countries like Cuba who object.
