Paul, Mari & all,
Thank you for addressing the fact that by noting that the Chapman
Family Association (CFA) is a Texas non-profit, it could be confusing
to some visitors. This wording was left intact from the original
website, but has now been moved under a more appropriate section of
the site.
The CFA is an association that welcomes members from the US and
abroad.
For those of you that are not familiar with the association, please
take a moment to view the website at
www.chapmanfamilies.org. I can
tell you that they are gearing up for their annual convention coming
up next May in Richmond VA. You don't need to be a member to attend
and they are a fantastic group of "Chappies"!

Paul,
I know that you know I understand, but if the CFA is not a "Texas
Organization", then the following needs to be either removed or
changed on
the web site:
"The Chapman Family Association (CFA) is a Texas non-profit
corporation
which has been exempt from federal income tax by the Internal
Revenue
Service as provided by Internal Revenue Code 501(c7). The
Association has
no paid staff or employees and depends entirely on volunteer
workers. "
It tends to confuse the issue for some folks.......
