Ah yes... your grandfather and Helen are my mom's cousins, I think. I have
a copy of Helen's book. My mom is Martha Lou Chapman/Lytle, dau. of Charles
Leo Capman who is one son of Andrew Joseph. Confusing isn't it? Anyway,
the missing info is a bit frustrating... but I still hold out hope that
something will turn up some day. Thanks for writing.

Raymond Louis Chapman was my grandfather. I too have been
searching for Andrew Joseph, and have met with little success. I just

Looking for ancestors of Andrew Joseph Chapman, b, 1862 Mississippi. It is
thought that his father's name was Joseph. The Civil War seems to have
created a huge gap in this line of Chapmans, and there are so many
"Josephs"
preceding the gap.
