Hello Judy, the IGI has a William Chapman, born c1730, married to a Mary
Ibbitson on 21 jan 1759 at Hawby, Yorkshire, and died after 1780 at new
Brunswick..
Their chn included those that you mention, plus others, and all were born or
chr at Hawnby.

This family went to Nova Scotia, Canada in 1774.
Their son, Thomas married Abigail Cain Nov. 04, 1779 and their issue was:
Thomas jr. b: 1780, Abigail 1782, David 1783, James 1785, George 1786,
Martin 1788, Eleanor 1790, Philip 1793, Benjamin ----
And Thomas jr. son, Thomas married Sarah Coates , they had 8 children.
Their
2nd born, Joseph married Jane Scott and they had 14 children. Their son,
George Stanley (12th) in line, married Catherine Steeves and their son,
Roy
Allison is my granfather. He was the 7 of seven children. He married Grace
Eldora Yates who was from Mass. to my mother, Catherine Barbara (Chapman)
Smith b: 1925
So it goes like this:

They went from England, Mass., Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Canada and
Maine.
Does anybody have any of this line? I would like to know more on my
family.
