I found some info for you. This is from Isle of Wight County deeds, book # 6.On LDS #
32004.
Page 51, 18 Feb. 1741, WILLIAM FRIZELL Jun. & JOHN FRIZELL sons & heirs of
WILLIAM FRIZELL & SARAH his wife to CHARLES CHAPMAN Planter. L 8... a tract of land
that JOHN PORT (?) gave to his daughter SUSANNAH THOMAS on 6 April 1693. Susannah was w/o

... before the house which JOHN FRIZELL formerly lived in adjoining THOMAS TOOKE. WILLIAM
& JOHN FRIZELL both signed. no signature for SARAH. Witness THOMAS & JAMES CALCOTE
& SAM'l WENTWORTH.( No explanation of who JOHN FRIZELL was. This deed is rather
confusing on the various FRIZELLS.. There does not appear to be any connection between the
FRIZELL'S and JOHN CHAPMAN,though.)

County. L 35 ... 150 acres.
There are lots of deeds in Isle of Wight County which have info on CHAPMANS. I found 2
films at the LDS library plus one with the index's. That is where I got this info. I
do not believe these are mine, though. The index is on LDS # 3200.
Film # 32003,book 4,page 96, 17 February 1730/1, ALICE BUFFIN ( or BUSSIN)
thanks a lot. these are all names in my family--dates are right too. I
hope I can place them. One of the problems--as usual--they all named their
children the same names, so it is hard to sort generations. Leslie
