Carol,
I volunteer in a branch Family History Center Library. I have been told many
times that most Irish records have been filmed by the LDS and are available
for rent in the branches. We have a family friend who made the trip on a
genealogy tour and then spoke to my chapter of the Ohio Genealogical
Society. He did not search the records on film here but on return to the US
needed some other piece of documentation and borowed film. Nearly all the
material he copied in Ireland was available through the FHCL. It would be
well worth the search of LDS film before a trip was made.

Hi
I can't help you with your family, but was hoping you might tell us
(list)
steps you took to find your family in Ireland. I've had a lot of people
looking for family in Ireland but don't know where to start. Thanks,
Carol list Mom
