More coincidences. My William's (born c 1820) wife was married under the
name of Jesie Davis (formerly Parker, born Watt). Their son Jesse Frederick
(my grandfather born 1857) married in 1884 Henrietta Brown, daughter of
Alfred Alexander Brown (born c 1830 Wigen, then moved as a child to the Isle
of Man). One of her sisters married a Mr. White in NSW. I wonder if my
William is related to your Thomas born 1816, although my William states he
was born in Surrey. His father Thomas at the time was a agricultural
labourer so the family could have moved around doing seasonal work.
