Mike, (1) Marshall Tryon applied for his CW pension in 1890 & 1909 still in
NY (Co B NY 21st Inf Reg). The indexes list him as Marshall H. Tryon, Jr.
He had been wounded but survived the war. I haven't been able to locate him
later than the 1900 census you cited. (2) 1920 lists a Charles Tryon
Buffalo Ward 6, Erie NY born abt 1855 NY widowed roomer.
(3) Eugene M. Tryon served in 12th NY Cavalry. Eugene Tryon died 7 Dec 1898
Nevada, Story, Iowa. He married Martha Taylor, daughter of Isreal Taylor &
Josephine Hagan, on 6 May 1885 in Boone Co., Iowa. Eugene & Martha's ch:(a)
Louise married Henry John Steiner, son of John Henry Steiner & Elizabeth
Smidt, 30 Mar 1905 Boone Co Iowa; (b) Clarence b 4 Jan 1888 Boone,Iowa d 5
Sep 1957 Yellow Medicine, MN; (c) Harry b 1889 married Ellen Flockhard,
daughter of Adam Flockhard & Olive Wilcox, on 26 Oct 1913, Boone, Iowa; (d)
Florence b 2 Oct 1893 Boone Iowa (4) Martha Taylor Tryon married John
Buschman, son of Claus Buschman & Anna Hobben, 16 Jan 1902 Boone Iowa. You
might consider sending for military records for Marshall his death should be
