I was checking out the Erie County PA
List http://www.rootsweb.com/~paerie/surc.htm since that's where my Jabez
Chapman ended up (about 1880) with his daughter Ann Eliza (Mrs Philip)
Northrup.
I found this post, which though old, may connect with somebody on the
Chapman List:
CASE, CHAPMAN, NASH posted by Carol Jo Thompson on Sunday, July 18, 1999
Zenus (born ca. 1813) and Anne CASE NASH were married in 1833 in Ashtabula
County OH and appear to have moved to West Springfield, Erie County PA. It
is thought they had a descendant whose name was Mable C. CHAPMAN. Does
anyone know anything about these people? Zenus was a brother of my gr gr
grandfather and I'd like to share/swap information with other family
members. Hope to hear from you soon.
