Am searching for information on my great grandfather Chapman. His name was DeWitt Chapman and he mostly went by the name Dee. He was born in 27 Feb 1900 in Peachesmill, TN. He married Malissa Kathryn Joiner (b. 13 Dec 1902 in Bumpusmills, Trigg, KY) on 7 Feb 1920. He died 27 Mar 1965 in Herndon County, KY. My great grandmother said that his parents were James Thurson Chapman and Lee Ella McCarter, but I have been unable to verify this through legal documentation.
If anyone with information on this family group and ideas on how to proceed could please contact me either through the group or at mamkmm(a)prodigy.net it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Dana or Dan Chapman born around 1925, lived in Pasadena Ca., in the fifties
or even earlier. He was first married to Callie Jane Pace and they had four
Children, Danny, Wendy, Gregory Paul b. 1959, Callie or Kelly b. 1956.
Dana and Callie known as Janie were divorced and she later lived in Durante,
Ca.,.
Dana sisters , I'm not positive of the names but I think they are, Vicky,
Rita or Teresa. They married and lived in Pasadena with their families, in
the fifties and sixties..
His brothers Bill, and Danny lived in Pasadena in the fifties and sixties.
Danny is not to be confused with Dan or Dana. Danny was the youngest of the
siblings. One other brother Bob was married to Bonnie.
The mother of Dana Chapman died in the late fifties or very early sixties.
and is buried somewhere around San Gabriel, CA., I understand she was of
Portuguese descent. If anyone can give me any leads of this family I would
be greatly appreciated. My children who never knew their father would love
to know something of their heritage. I have been unable to get a copy of
the Pasadena city directory through the inter library loan.
