Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Yes, _IF_ she want to receive list mail at both addresses. But if she just
want the mail to her being to just one address, I suggest you consider
posting one address to your Accept list. This way, she can receive mail
only once at which ever address is subscribed but can post from either
address.
This is my ANSWER ABOVE. So if someone wants an email UK and one for US on
same list they can. Or for any other reason one uses 2 mails. However, you have
to notify me of the other email address so I can put it on the accept list.
You will therefore receive one email from this list but can post from both
list.
I want to con congratulate the list for helping one another. It is always
good to repost interest at least once a year of more often. We are all busy and
don't always search the archives and we get new listers every now and then.
Also would love postings about the UK around the time of your ancestors. This
would really help us to learn more about the history of UK.

Greetings. Since we're reposting our interests I thought I'd chime in. I'm looking for a Thomas CHAPMAN who was born circa 1777 somewhere in Buckinghamshire and who in the early 1800s lived in Medmenham, Buckinghamshire. He had sons Richard (b. 1817) and Thomas (b. 1823). His wife in later years was Mary of Hambleden, but their ages indicate potential prior marriages.
Thomas Chapman died 01 Jul 1849 in Medmenham, age 72, and wife Mary died 05 Jun 1852, age 75. I am descended from their son Richard, who married Sophia Meades.
If anyone knows this family please contact me.
All the best,

My brickwall is Robert Chapman born abt 1811
probably in Devon or Cornwall. He was a
carpenter/joiner in later life but was a labourer
early on. He died in Dec 1843 in Tavistock,
Devon.
He married Elizabeth Shapling (born 1812 in
Stoke Climsland, Lezant, Cornwall) on Aug 5
1828 in Werrington, Devon.
They had 3 children, Jane (1830), Elizabeth
(1832) and Robert Henry (1839).
Any connections....?
