Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Received this.....it's FYI. :)

I'm so far behind reading my emails - I saw someone else's response to this
and deleted it - now I wonder - My Chapmans and others are from Columbia
County, and this might be a lead. I haven't seen Yankee in ages, could you
send me the information? And could the person who responded with the name
Hurd, please contact me as well? I have a Charles Chapman who was born in
Saltash, Cornwall, @1812, and emigrated to Columbia County NY. He married
Mary Jane Sherman, and they had Lillie May Chapman who married my
GGGrandfather, Oscar Shook.
Thanks,
Beth
Ginny, I would love to have the address for the coat of arms of Hurds.
Even though my last name isn't HURD I am a direct descendant of five
generations of Hurds. Billie in Florida
