You might want to ask Mike if he gave permission to post his information.
That could be the reason that it is not there.
I think that Gil was organizing the yDNA info and trying to find out which
of the lines esp. in Va. had not been tested. You might want to email Gil a
see if he has made any new finds and could let all of us know. Many of us
are interested!
I think that there were many marriages with in the same families in earlier
times. But that is not suposed to show up in the yDNA because it is a
continuous line of male DNA, unless there was a child raised in the other
family and given that name or ? parentage.

ProjectPage Dan Chapman
Overall, I believe the Chapman DNA project is suffering form lack of
focus, analysis and timely updates. Nobody is driving it. For example,
I share one of the few Chapman matches, and it doesn't even show up on
Dan's page. That would be between me - 24055 - and a newfound cousin,
Mike Chapman - N24864. I don't know if that's because Mike has not
passed the info along properly, or Dan has failed to post it - but it's
frustrating and does not encourage others to participate. I don't mean
that as a criticism of any individual. I criticize myself for not
understanding this stuff more, but it's only something that I come back
to on occasion. Nor do I have any interest in Dan's thankless job!
While I'm at it here, I would also like to alert people that I found a
close match with a Sims descendant. This is interesting for the fact
that Sims is a maternal connection. For those of you that follow John
and Jane Chapman of Culpepper, Frances Sims is the wife of Joshua
Morris, and they had three daughters that married sons of John and Jane
- including my direct Chapman ancestor. Finding a DNA link to Frances
Sims helped me trace and confirm her ancestry back many more
generations. yDNA is not supposed to be able to help on maternal
connections, but I found that untrue.
