Did you say the your were related to Mike of Las Vagas and Tom who are the
John Chapman of Culpepper VA b.1750? I have sort of been trying to keep
track of the matches that are given through the email.

Great news on the match, Tom Chapman. I believe that your DNA match
N24864
may be with the Mike Chapman who posts as "Michael in Las Vegas." I don't
know if he subscribes to the CHAPMAN-DNA list, so I have copied him on the
message at his last known address (to me) just to make sure that he was
aware that his DNA posting was "wanted and needed." My DNA is posted and
I
hope to match up with someone other than the mailman soon (grin).

You might want to ask Mike if he gave permission to post his information.
That could be the reason that it is not there.
I think that Gil was organizing the yDNA info and trying to find out which
of the lines esp. in Va. had not been tested. You might want to email Gil
a
see if he has made any new finds and could let all of us know. Many of us
are interested!
I think that there were many marriages with in the same families in
earlier
times. But that is not suposed to show up in the yDNA because it is a
continuous line of male DNA, unless there was a child raised in the other
family and given that name or ? parentage.
