None of my Chapmans, to my knowledge, has AB blood type.

Subject: [CHAPMAN-DNA] 1860s OH Chapmans
Today I had a response from the rootsweb Chapman surname message
board
that
sounds as if it has a good possibility of being a match because of
temporal &
geographic proximity in OH, born 1860s-70s, and a likelihood of AB
blood
type
match with my grandfather. I've tried to encourage this person to
participate
in the yDNA project; I have 4 brothers, any of whom would be willing.
I
would
enter a 37-marker sample should the other person participate, and
encouraged
that person to go for no less than the 25, since 12 is a meaningless
waste
of
$.
Are there really only 11 total Chapman-surname participants? I'm very
puzzled
by the widely divergent results.
Outta curiosity, have any of you Chapmans a history of blood type AB,
father,
grandfather, &c?
