I have done the "ysearch" thingie a couple days back & it's all been
signed, so
maybe lagtime from them? Another did pop onto the Chapman list but it's not my
brother. (When 40089 shows we'll have 15 total. bleah)
I found one that earlier showed only 3 markers different, now 4 (?) at 25
marker level which refers to an Enoch Chapman b 1797 SC, which is closer than
Mike's James d 1785, but 4/25 ain't great, either. I dunno why it's only
comparing 25 markers.
I think that some of the alleles (positions) mutate more swiftly but forget
which and it wouldn't tell me beans anyway with our small sample.
We Chapmans certainly have a wide genetic variety! We need 10 times the
participants we have, at least, to see much of patterns, I betcha. Does anyone
know what we'ere doing?!
