Erasmus Allen and wife Sarah let Michael Willson, all of Rowan Co NC, have
43 acres on waters of Brian's Mill Creek next to James Forbes, John
Johnston, JAMES CHAPMAN and James Willson, for 20 pounds, witnessed by
Andrew Hunt, & Milly White and proved by Andrew Hunt in May 1794. It begins
on the corner of James Forbes at a pine, going with the line of John Jonston
north 33 chains to a pine, west with the line of JAMES CHAPMAN 13 chains to
a red oak, south with the line of James Willson, 33 chains to a pine, then
to the beginning.

"Ordered that ELIZABETH SHEPPARD, formerly E. CHAPMAN, Admx of JAMES CHAPMAN
deceased, and NATHAN SHEPPARD who hath intermarried with said Elizabeth do
appear at next Court and give other Security, or deliver the personal Estate
of said JAMES deceased into the hands and possession of Charles Hunt her
present Security.

ELIZABETH SHEPARD of Rowan Co. NC BILL OF SALE lets Edward Stonestreet have
1 sow, 11 goats(shoats), 3 pots, 2 ovens etc for £10 witnessed by NANCY
CHAPMAN and ERASMUS CHAPMAN, proved in Feb Court 1799.
26 Nov 1793, Book 13, page 426:
ELIZABETH SHEPARD of Rowan County, NC lets ERASMUS CHAPMAN of ???? have 9
head of cattle, 1 feather bed, 40 bushels of corn at 29 cents the pound, 1
trunk at 40 shillings, 1 chest at £1, 2 walnut bedsteads and a small wheel
at £2, etc witnessed by Nathan Chaffin Sr. and Jr. and proved by the latter
in Feb 1794.
11 March 1794, Book 14, page ? :
NATHAN SHEPPARD & ELIZABETH SHEPPARD (as administrators of JAMES CHAPMAN,
through their attorney, Joseph Brevard) admit the wrong which WILLIAM and &
ALLEN CHAPMAN (as executors of deceased Erasmus ALLEN ) have done.
