Page 32; I quote: Genealogy of Moses Chapline's wife.
Janet Caton married Moses Chapline at her home near Annapolis, Md., in the year 1740. She
was the daughter of William and Elizabeth Caton and born about 1718, in St. Margaret's
Westminister Parish, north side of Servern River, opposite Annopolis. Daughter of William
and Elizabeth Caton. Her brother Thomas married Ann ____; their son, William, the last
male member of the family, lived to be 80 years of age. He died about 1825.
The Catons were of Saxton origin, Norfolk and Suffolk, England. End of quote. There is a
lot more here but too much to put here.
