Dee, thanks to you and Virginia for a very timely reminder that we are the
keepers of the past and should always remember the keepers of the future
when we are setting up our records.
Many thanks
Leslie C. Welfare

Subject: [CHAPLIN] Census 2010
Hi All,
This post came through one of my other lists, and it sounds like a good
idea to me. I wish I had thought of it in 2000 myself. With permission,
I am passing it along.
Kind regards,
Dee

This is the year our country will do a census of all the people living
in your household. This is very important for you to fill out and mail
back to our government. So please do not forget to fill out your census
form and return it.
However, before you return it make a copy of it and place it in your
genealogy files. I made a copy of my 2000 census before returning it to
the government. Your future generation genealogists will be thrilled to
find in your files your 2010 census. Remember this census we will fill
out this year will not be available for 72 years to the future
generations for research.
I only wish I had thought of this before 2000 and that I had a copy of
all the census records I sent back. Please encourage all your family
members to do the same.
Regards,
Virginia L. Aldridge
