I have researched my father's lineage and have started on my mother's. All the
information I have received and found is accurate, to the best of my knowledge.
My lineage: Henry Sable (Zable)(1830) married Phoebe Charlotte Mason (1834) - son -
Adelbert (Delbert) Sable (1860) married Annie Lyons (1863) - son - Orion (Orin) Sable
(1886) married Susie Marsh (1888,1889) - Hazel Viola Sable (April 26, 1922) married my
Frank Reeves and had two children Frank and Frances; divorced and married Louis Mkrobrad
(not sure if they had any children) who died in Europe during WWII. She had a daughter
(JoAnn Dulyea-married name born in July 1945); which she adopted out. See then married my
father Robert Wheeler Chapin (February 17, 1917)(Chicago, IL) on February 3, 1946. They
had 12 children; of which I am one. However, details are sketchy as my mother passed when
I was nine years old and we were sent in various foster homes. Robert Wheeler Chapin III
(March 3, 1944), Phillip Maxson Chapin (September 22, 1947), Marvin (died in March
1951-house fire), Claudia (died in March 1951 - house fire), Theodore (died in March 1951
- house fire), Linda Lee (!
died 7 weeks after birth - pneunomia), Robin Lynn (November 7, 1950), Colleen Jill
(December 12, 1952), Carl Herbert (January 20, 1954), Karen Leigh (November 10, 1955),
William Charles (September 6, 1958) and Kathleen Marie (November 6, 1963).
Any information on her marriages and children would be greatly appreciated. I do know that
she started dating my dad in 1943; but did not marry until 1946 when he came back from the
services. I am looking for information on her parents, her siblings, my siblings and my
mother's marriages and children from these marriages. Basically just about anything
and everything.
I find it fascinating in looking at the past.
