Doris J. Chapin
Ex-Hermitage woman lived in Ga., had daughter here
WINSTON, Ga. -- A funeral service will be held Friday for Doris J. Chapin
of 6325 Rice St., Winston, formerly of Hermitage. She died at 3:15 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002, in her residence after an extended illness.
She was 68. She was the wife of H. Raymond Chapin. Born Tuesday,
May 1, 1934, in Sharon, Mrs. Chapin was a daughter of the late Clyde
and Stella Brown Knox.
She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Winston. Mrs. Chapin was
a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her
family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by: a daughter, Debra,
wife of David Tomko, Sharon; three sons, David, husband of Noel Chapin,
Orange, Calif.; Richard Chapin, Winston; and Brian Chapin, Monett, Mo.;
a sister, Clydine Watson-Dickey, Struthers, Ohio; and a brother,
Don Knox, Toledo, Ohio.
She is also survived by four grandchildren.

FUNERAL HOME, 264 E. State St., Sharon. Service: Funeral service at
11 a.m. Friday (1-3-03) in the funeral home with the Rev. James Chapin,
deceased's brother-in-law, of Living Word Christian Center, West Salem
Township, officiating. Interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
