Philip Edward Anthony
(May 28, 1942 - November 16, 2007)
U.S. Veteran Funeral services for Philip Edward Anthony, age 65, of Stafford, TX, are
scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, November 21, 2007, at First Baptist Church of Needville,
TX, with Rev. Jeff Kluttz officiating. Burial will follow in Needville Public Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 AM Wednesday, November 21, 2007, at the church, preceding the
funeral service. Mr. Anthony was born May 28, 1942, in Syracuse, NY, to Claude Anthony and
Ruth Chapin Anthony. He passed away Friday, November 16, 2007, at Triumph Hospital of
Southwest Houston in Sugar Land, TX, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Anthony served in the US
Coast Guard and was a printer for Wetmore Printing Company in Houston, TX. He is survived
by his loving wife of 40 years, Janis Eversole Anthony of Stafford, TX; son, Philip
Anthony, Jr. and wife, Angela, of Needville, TX; and grand daughter, Alexandria Anthony of
Needville, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his inlaws, Ruby and Calvin
(Pud) Eversole. Memo!
