The Jeremiah Chapins you sent info. on had dates of 1869 and 1845 of
MI,Calhoun Co. and I am still in Seneca Co. NY. Wolcott for 1820 census. I appreciate
your sending them but do not think they apply, unless to a future generation.
I hope to look at Ft.Wayne library today at census, etc. and Seneca Co.NY
Histrory where you got some info. Are you in the Chapin line also? I have seen
Jane Chapin Smith's grave in Erie, Monroe Co. MI (died 1864) and Ira remarried
an "Esther" afterward and was in Elkhart Co. IN in 1870 census. Thank you.
