Thomas and Ann were married at Rowley on 7 April 1654, was called

......... TODD "brother" His wife Ann died 29 Dec 1714. Thomas was
buried 12 September 1687..It is most probably that Thomas and his
brothers lived with their sister Elizabeth after their parents' deaths and
learned the caprenter's trade from Elizabeth's husband. Thomas and
Ann were parents of 12 children all born Rowley, Essex, Massachusetts:
1. Mary 1655 md James CHUTE

NOTES FOR EDWARD 1) WOOD
SOURCE: Savage vol 4 p625; Torrey's NE M prior 1700 p835;
Edward died at Charlestown, Middlesex, MA., 27 Nov 1642.. his wife
Ruth died 27 9 mo, 1642 also at Charlestown. Edward was admitted to
the church at Charlestown 30 Jan 1640, his inventory was taken 4 Oct
1642 is extent in the Suffolk county probates.
Thomas Bellows WYAMN, calls her Ruth MOUSALL. Since Ruth
(MOUSALL) WOOD was living 13 April 1657 when her father, Ralph
MOUSALL made his will, it is obvious that she married a different WOOD.
Other chroniclers of the WOOD family have perpetuated WYMAN's error.
It is probable that Edward was newly come to America in 1640 and that all
the children were born in England except their last daughter Tabitha who
was born and died in charlestown in 1641.
Edward' son Thomas WOOD mentions in his will his brother Obadiah.
Obadiah, in a deed, mentions his brother Josiah and his cousin
[nephew] Samuel PHIPPS.
Obadiah's son Obadiah removed to Hartford, CT., in his will he leaves to
his children "that estate that may fall to me in Old England." In a dispute
over the estate between John SHAW, the husband of Mary 2) WOOD, and Obadiah
WOOD III, John SHAW appealed the case to the Superior Court.
A search of the superior court records at Hartford may perhaps establish
the seat of the family in England. From these various records we can
reconstruct the family of Edward 1) and Ruth 1) (LEE) WOOD,
Edward and Ruth were parents of 7 children, all born/bp in Nuneaton,
Warwickshire, England, except their last child, a daughter Tabitha was born
1640 and died 29 Aug 1642 in Charlestown, Middlesex, MA.
