Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Let's all list when their Chapin family left the MA area. Please include
their name and what Chapin line your from , if you know it.

Anne R. Chapin Weds Dr. W. S. Martin
Anne Roberts Chapin, a daughter of Neil Chapin Jr. of Sarasota, Fla., and Mrs. Lincoln Stevenson of Rye, N.Y., was married in Rye yesterday to Dr. William Stanley Martin, a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Dean Martin of Rochester, Vt. The Rev. Nancy Hanna performed the Episcopal ceremony at Christ's Church.
Mrs. Martin, 32 years old, is a medical administrator at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. She graduated from Georgetown University. Her father, who is retired, was a real-estate executive in Sarasota. Her mother, also retired, was chairman of the English department at Rye Country Day School.
Dr. Martin, 32, is a physician with the Port Authority. He graduated cum laude from the University of Vermont, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and from the university's medical school. His father, who is retired, was a real estate investor in Rochester.
