My mother's mother, Caroline Louise Chapin Davies (20-Nov-1915) and i like
to go through her old pictures. We're working on putting together a photo
album for the grandkids. I put together a family tree from some notes
through our discussions and put it on the web with some scaned galleries.
You can brouse the galleries but to view the tree you'll need to download
the free software. Here are some family names i descend from that are
roughly in the tree:
Richards, Davies, Chapin, Cooper, Matthews, Slocum, Moody, Boynton

Hi listers
http://www.linkpendium.com
This is a great site for any state you are researching. It has alot of links
that you may not know about. It's a work in progress, however each state has
something listed. If any of you have a good site you would like to share please
do so.
The list seems to be a little slow at this time. We have alot of new members
subscribe lately and it would be a good idea to list your family with
locations and dates you are researching. Also, if you have found more news about your
families or your brick walls.
After a year of posting on a board I finally got a poster that broke my brick
wall with my Logan ggrandmother. It could happen to you too. Then when I told
a couple of related sites I found another cousin with just her parents names.
Try it.
Also you may be the one to break that other person's brick wall. Even if you
have all your info, please share. Carol list MOM
Hi,
This is not my line, but I do keep a miscellaneous database on other Chapins
that I run across while searching for mine. I will add Isaac and Amelia to
my database, in case I do find something later. If so, I will let you know.
have questions that may help us help you.
In which county/state/country is Anderson located? That could help find a
death certificate.
Do you know when and where they were married? Marriage licenses often have
information that you are seeking.
Do you know the names, birthdates and places of birth for the children of
this couple? Birth certificates are a good source of information on the
parents too.
Do you know if Isaac served in the military? Military files give a lot of
information when obtainable.
Good luck.
