Onesiphorus baptised 30 August 1796 died about March 1875 was of Robert CHANT
and Sarah KELLAWAY
Onesiphorus baptised 13 May 1747 buried 12 August 1762 of Robert CHANT and
Susannah. This is one from list archives.
It would seem preferable to alter the reply mode for the list so that all
replies go to the list for all members to view them. Even if something is not
your line you may have found an item of use to another list member in your own
searches. If messages are not directed back to the list other members will not
know what has been said and therefore have no incentive to join in with such
findings.
The archives have also come to lack that degree of interest for any new or
potential members. Important list members like Sean Leyland, who has been so
helpful in the past, even where the enquiry did not relate to his wife's line,
should then receive more encouragement to continue. Lack of response to his
endeavours has led Sean to unsubscribe. Members have only to compare the number of
postings this month with previous months to see the effect that has had.
