Thanks Andy
I wonder if maybe Benjamin b 1727 son of Benjamin Chant at Horsington
might be Benjamin Chant at Oborne in 1760 that married Martha
That would make Benjamin 32/33 when he married Martha which is quite
plausable.
It would solve Rita's ongoing problem for the Oborne Chant origin's.
regards
Michael

Michael,
Further research on the missing CHANT's of Henstridge 1688 to 1713.
-Stowell PR's missing 1678 to 1745.
-Charlton Horethorne PR's start 1695 and are nearly illegible - No CHANT's
1695 to 1734.
-North Cheriton (inc. South Cheriton) checked 1680 to 1720 - No CHANT's.
-Horsington 1558 to 1836 [transcription] - 2 CHANT's - 29/05/1725 Amy
d.Benjamin
- 17/07/1727 Benjamin s. Benjamin
-Abbas Combe (inc. Templecombe)1691 to 1812 - 4 CHANT's as already listed.
Looks as though they either went to Dorset or went to an Independent Church.
