Hello Listers,
We discussed Nathaniel Chant born 1850, son of George Chant and Ann
Masters last weekend, of Middle Chinnock. I came across death entry for
him aged 66 years old during Dec Qtr 1916 at Taunton 5c 435. Looks like
he moved further west then after 1901, as he is listed on that census
return at Yeovil.

I have Nathaniel on the 1851 census at Middle Chinnock, aged 1 with
parents
George aged 33, ag lab born MC. Wife/mother Ann aged 32, glover, born
Chiselborough. Siblings, Benjamin aged 8 and Joseph aged 3 both born
MC.
Hi Sean,
Can't remember if they have cropped up before. What I find interesting
is
the name Benjamin for one of the children. I shouldn't want to make too
much of
it, but it doesn't crop up too much in the Chinnocks.
Cheers,
John
