William and his "second family" were on the 1930 US census still at
Kingman, Arizona. William was still working as a blacksmith aged 58.
There were no additional children to those mentioned on the 1920 census
return. However this return states that William was married at age 41
and his wife Jennie was aged 19. She was working in the mine's laundry
during 1930, which sounds just wonderful !
Does anyone have access to Newfoundland births to find who William's
parents were ? Perhaps the webpage with NFL genealogy may be of help.
Can't think of the URL offhand but it is wealth of information. I know
the Michael and John have alluded to it in past postings.
It might be interesting to find out more regarding William's three later
children.

Sean

Found him on the 1910 census at Golconda, Arizona aged 38 working in
the blacksmith's shop of a mine. However it sheds no light on his
"first wife" and child as the return states he was single.
