Hallo Beryl
I had originally thought there was a Lister who was descended from George
and Tamar, but but didnt remember that it was you when I asked several
weeks ago if anyone could confirm where those events had taken place - my
apologies.
I am very sorry but I do not have Sarah Whitings' baptismal date - I was
checking other things and it totally slipped my mind that she was born in
Middle Chinnock.
Just to confirm the other dates from the Middle Chinnock Parish Registers
for you:
Sarah Whiting Chant daughter of George and his first wife Sarah Whiting was
baptised on the 27 February 1791 and her Mother Sarah was buried on the
same day 27 February 1791.
George and Sarahs' daughter, Sarah Whiting Chant was buried on the 13 March
1791, there is no actual notation on the parish registers that she was
buried in the same grave as her Mother although one would expect that to be
the case and perhaps Monumental Inscriptions confirm that.
Regards
Christine

daughterof George Chant of West Chinnock
Hello Christine and listers...
Are you able to give me the exact birth date and place for Sarah
Whiting who married George Chant please? I only have born about 1772
and died 27/2/1791 in child birth, and that the baby died 13 3/1791 and
was buried with her. I have no burial dates or places.
I presume you are aware that my direct line here is from George Chant
and Tamar Muston's youngest child Isaac Muston Chant who married Mary
Tizzard and their child Sarah Catherine Chant was my great grandmother.
It is strange to look all these things up when I think that I never
knew my great grandparents and yet I myself have seven great
grandchildren!!
Regards,
Beryl Renton in Brisbane
