Hello Michael,
In my un-matched Wiltshire Chant folder I have William &
Elizabeth & family as mentioned in your email of the 15th Sept.
A few years back I had a whole lot of Wiltshire Chant info.sent to me by
Andrew Chant who is on this list.
Here's what I have roughly:---
** William CHANT born 1820 was married to Elizabeth LEVER/LAVER also
born 1820. Her father was Joseph & mother Hannah as in the 1861 census
entry...a widow then.
** William 1820's parents are William 1791 & wife Peggy nee SNELL.
They had 8 children.
** William 1791's parents are William Anthony 1756 & wife
Jean/Jane/Joan,,,they had 2 children.
** William A. 1756's parents are John CHAUNT chris 1713 & Mary HARVEY.
All the above entries are Broad Chalke, Wiltshire.
Regards,
Janette in Oz.

Hallo Listers
I assume that there are no descendents of George and his subsequent wife
Tamar who subscribe to the List otherwise I am sure they would have the
correct details for the baptism and burials of George's first wife Sarah
Whiting and their daughter Sarah Whiting Chant, but just so that other
Listers can update their files with accuracy I thought I should let you know
that the baptism and burials took place at Middle Chinnock.
Regards
Christine
