Good to hear from you. I did not receive your reply to my original
message, I have no idea why because all other List messages are getting
through to me. I only came across your reply via the List Archives for
Feb. Anyhow here goes. As you know I have been slowly transcribing the
Dorset 1891 census, which is now complete. However I thought I would now
look at those people born in Dorset but now living elsewhere. Here goes
with Frank first.
11, Station Gardens, Twickenham:
Frank Chant, Head aged 26, railway stoker, born Sherborne, Dorset
Florence Chant, wife aged 27, born Devon
Ernest Victor Chant, son aged 4 months born Twickenham.
As I said in my previous posting Frank and Florence were married during
1890. So Frank moved from Sherborne between 1881 and 1890. It would be
great to track down one of his descendents, presumably there are still
in the London area.
