Hello Vicky and Christine,
I can make any checks on the 1891 census here at home. Just give me a
little background on Harry Chant and I will get back to you.
Regards,
Sean

Hallo Vicky
Unfortunately I ran out of time with my long list of research tasks and
was
only had time to check through the Henry Chant 's - if no one in the
meantime is able to check on Harry S Chant in the 1891 census I will
check
next time I go. My apologies.
I did check on the name of Joseph Kingwell Chant, a Builder - Linda's
wonderful transcription of the Will index was correct of course, it is
listed as Mary - Could be a second wife - I suppose there is also a
remote
possibility that it is a clerical error in compiling the index.
With a bit of luck hopefully we will find out eventually.
Christine
