I had one or two minor differences which I have now altered as I was showing
Owen Whitehead as the source.
The Kathleen is the one who married the 'Canadian' serviceman, Herbert Chant,
whose father, William, is shown in Montacute as a woodsman on the marriage
detail on Duncan Weir's site.
1901 census entry below and I think it is the right family; interesting that
it looks like an Odcombe line apart from father. I haven't got any other
Montacute Chants so I wonder if father's line came from Odcombe originally?
