Hello All,
I have a little further information on my search for Frederick Chant
(g-grandfather). Yesterday I searched the birth registries and found three
births for 1856/7/8. I haven't got the certificates yet but wondered if
anyone claims any of these:
1856 Frederick George Chant registered in Wincanton ref 5c 307
Fred Chant, Sherborne ref 5a 349
1857 Frederick George Chant - could be Avebury but illegible 2a 304
Since some of the negative microfiches were almost illegible, the references
may be incorrect so any similar numbers will probably be the right ones.
Any information on any of these three would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Gill Chant

Subject: [CHANT] Some Birmingham Chants...
Hi all...
I was just browsing and came across the emails to and fro re the above.
I also have Joseph and Elizabeth with Martha 1844/1851, Jane 1849/1851
and
Frederick 1852. The parents of Joseph were John Chant and Ann
Palmer.
However, I have John and Elizabeth with Walter 1855/1855, and Frederick
1856. The parents of John are also John Chant and Ann Palmer.
Unfortunately I have no more information on either of them, though I do
have
thirteen children to John Chant and Ann Palmer.
Can anyone enlighten me further please?
