Hello Listers,
BY 1930 George's family had grown considerably. Still listed at Port
Jervis, NY.
George Chant, head aged 46, born England, garment presser
Mary Chant, wife aged 43, born England
Charles B Chant, son aged 22, born England, cutter in clothes factory
Frederick Chant, son aged 18, born NY, weaver at silk mill
Theresa Chant, daughter, aged 15, born NY
Catherine Chant, daughter aged 12, born NY
Marjery Chant, daughter aged 8, born NY
Shirley Chant, daughter, aged 7 born NY
George H Jnr, son aged 5, born NY
Elizabeth Chant, daughter aged 2, born NY
Presumably by 1930 the two eldest daughters Lucy and Minnie had married.
Anyone with connections with this family in the US ?
Regards,
Sean
