** By the way my ancestors are John Barrett CHANT chris.1799 Queen Camel
& wife Ann nee Peirce/Pearce & they were in West Street, Somerton in 1851
..they were schoolmaster & mistress then.
Their children were:--
1. George chris.1822 Somerton,..His.death date is unknown.
2. John Pearce chris.1823 Somerton & he married in 1860 ..I don't know who
to & when he died.
3. My Alftrd born 7.11.1824 & chris.11.7.1825 in Somerton who married 1852
in Geelong, Victoria
4. Edith Barrett chris.24.9.1826 Somerton married 27.4.1850 to John Weymouth
OSBORNE in Victoria.
5. Harriett chris.29.4.1832 in Kingsdon married 4.8.1851 to JohnWALTON
6. Susan chris.8.6.1834 Kingsdon...scholar in 1851
7. Ann chris.16.9.1835 Kingsdon & marr.26.8.1862 to Joseph KIDDLE.
8. Martha born 1836 Somerton & died 7.1.1839 Somerton.
** I don't know who John & Annie on a market garden in 1901 who had
Emily Chant aged 22 born West chinnock with them as a servant are. Her
parentsare as below.
**You queried Benjamin & Amelia Chant on where they fitted in. Benjamin
was born 31.3.1859 & was the son of Adam CHANT 1822 & Jane nee HALLETT born
1828 in West Chinnock. I haven't got any perents for her.
** You wanted to know if George born 1799's parents were James &
Mary. Yes they were.

children)
4. Ann 1801-1879.
5. Robert 1805 married a Mary date unknown.
6. Isaac born 29.12.1805 & chris.6.2.1806 married 1828 to Mary HOCKEY...(11
children)
7. Mary born 12.6.1808 & chris.10.7.1808 married c.1833 to Joseph
PATTEN..( 7 children)
8. Elizabeth born 17.11.1810 & chris.23.12.1810 & buried 23.12.1810
9. Adam 1816-1817
